midwest born and raised, but settled roots in various areas around the country/world. i've had ups and downs and try mostly to stay somewhere towards neutral. i have learned through everything, life does, in fact, go on.

The man laying on the ground is Iraq War veteran Scot Olsen, who was shot in the head by a tear gas canister which fractured his skull and left him in critical condition.

If you want to keep up with Occupy news, I would highly recommend subscribing to the Occupy subreddit.

This is so sad. Prayers and positivity to Occupy Oakland and Mr. Olsen.
