Life Goes On

midwest born and raised, but settled roots in various areas around the country/world. i've had ups and downs and try mostly to stay somewhere towards neutral. i have learned through everything, life does, in fact, go on.

I love when real “thug” rap artists get deep and introspective (i.e. The Game crying about the state of hip-hop) This open letter is a great example of this. Also, is homie really spelled “hommie” or is that just a different level of homie? Like if I run with your crew, I’m just a homie, but if I would serve time for you, or run the streets while you serve time, I’m elevated to “hommie”? Also, like how the “P.S.” is longer than the actual letter. Also, maybe the best opening line in any letter “I hope you are well, let’s get to the point, you’re a bitch”. I’ve received some great, great, epic letters in my life (trust) but this is amazing.

P.S. I’m gonna post a blog, later about my actual dream jobs, one of which is just being part of a rap crew, or the person who is just in the videos, on stage at the concerts with a water bottle and a towel and only there cause they grew up on the same block as the rap artist. I think it might be my highest aspiration, actually.
